What should a church put in its link in bio?
A church page serves two groups at once:
- Visitors and newcomers want service times, the address, parking, what to expect and whether there is something for their kids.
- Members want this week's sermon, events, giving, prayer requests and ways to serve.
Put the visitor information at the top. Members already know where to scroll.
Recommended church link in bio setup
Blocks, top to bottom:
- Header with a photo of your building or congregation and one line: “A family church in Kochi. Everyone welcome.”
- Business hours, retitled “Service times”, with each day's services.
- Map with directions, and a short Text note about parking or the entrance.
- Video block with the latest sermon or livestream on YouTube, or an Audio block for an MP3 sermon. A Music block plays a Spotify podcast episode if you publish sermons there.
- Event blocks for upcoming services, retreats, youth nights and festivals, each with add-to-calendar.
- Giving: a free UPI payment button in India, or a Link to your existing online giving platform.
- Goal tracker for a building fund or mission trip, updated by hand as gifts come in.
- Form embed with a Google Form or Tally form for prayer requests.
- Form embed or Link for volunteer sign-up: welcome team, worship, kids ministry.
- Phone signup or Email signup: “Get weekly updates.”
- FAQ for newcomers: what to wear, how long services last, what happens for kids.
- Social icons.

Tips for church link in bio pages
- Keep prayer requests private. Use a form that sends answers to your team (Google Forms, Tally, Typeform or Jotform). The free Contact form block also works for short requests and sends them to your inbox.
- Swap the sermon weekly. Replace the Video link each Sunday so the newest message is always on top.
- Use an Announcement bar for changes: “Christmas Eve service at 10pm”.
- Use Pro scheduling to show an event only until it is over, so the page stays current without someone remembering to edit it.
- Several ministries? Pro allows more than one page, so your youth group or a language service can have its own link.
- Share it everywhere: Instagram and Facebook bios, WhatsApp groups, the church bulletin and email footer.
Put a QR code in the bulletin and at the door
Create a QR code of your page with the free QR Code Generator and print it in the weekly bulletin, on welcome cards, on posters at the entrance and on the screen before the service. Visitors scan once to save service times, give, or fill in a connect card. The code keeps working when you update events or the sermon.
Can your church page show up on Google?
Yes, published Biolinko pages are open to search engines by default. The page title and bio are used as the search title and description, and the page includes ProfilePage structured data that links to your social profiles. Turn on List in directory to add it to the public directory and sitemap. A page titled with your church name and a bio with your town gives people searching for you one more result to find. No one can guarantee a ranking, and you can switch on Hide from search engines for a members-only page.
Where Biolinko is not the right fit for churches
- No built-in donation processing outside India. UPI is free for Indian churches. The Pro Tip jar takes card and UPI payments through your own Razorpay account, which onboards businesses in India. Churches elsewhere should link to their existing giving platform.
- No tax receipts or donor management. Keep using your giving platform or accounting tool for that.
- No member database or check-in system. Form entries go to the form tool you embed, or to your leads list for Biolinko forms.
The core setup above is free. Pro is $5/month (₹299 in India) and adds extra pages, scheduling and Pro blocks.
