What should a restaurant put in its link in bio?
In order of what diners look for first:
- The menu, with prices. This is the most-tapped item on almost every restaurant page.
- Are you open? Today's hours, highlighted.
- How to get the food: dine in (reservations), delivery (Swiggy, Zomato, Uber Eats, DoorDash or whichever you use) or pickup.
- Where you are, with a directions button.
- Why you: photos of the food, reviews and what is new this week.
Recommended restaurant and café link in bio setup
Blocks, top to bottom:
- Header with a food or interior photo and one line: “Wood-fired pizza and craft coffee in Indiranagar.”
- Announcement bar for today's news: “Live music Friday 8pm” or “Closed Monday”.
- Menu with sections, prices, sizes (Half / Full), veg and non-veg marks, spice levels and an optional Order on WhatsApp button per dish. Paste your menu as text and it is split into dishes for you. Keep a PDF viewer for a long printed menu.
- Button row with up to three delivery app links side by side.
- Appointment, Link or Booking (Pro) for table reservations: let guests request a day and time with the free Appointment block and confirm it from Leads, link to your reservation app, or embed a Calendly or Cal.com page for private dining enquiries.
- WhatsApp chat for takeaway orders and table bookings: “Hi, table for 4 tonight at 8?”.
- Instagram feed with your latest posts (connect a Business or Creator account), or an Image grid of dishes, each linking to the Instagram post.
- Business hours and Map.
- UPI payment for pre-orders, cake orders or tips to the team.

Restaurant link in bio tips
- Menu block or PDF? The Menu block is faster to read on a phone, has a Veg only filter and is easy to update. Keep a PDF viewer for the full menu if it is long, and make sure the file is small.
- Update hours for holidays the day before. Nothing loses a customer faster than turning up to a closed door.
- Only link delivery apps you are active on. A dead delivery link is worse than none.
- Use specific WhatsApp messages for different jobs: one button for table bookings, one for cake or party orders.
- Collect regulars. A Phone signup block (“Get our weekly specials on WhatsApp”) builds a list you own.
- Check which buttons get tapped. If most people tap the menu, put it first; if they tap delivery, move the delivery row up.
Use a QR code on tables, counters and takeaway bags
Make a QR code of your page with the free QR Code Generator and print it on table tents, the counter, menus, bills and takeaway bags. Because it opens your whole page, one code covers the menu, the review link, UPI and your Instagram. Update the menu on the page and the printed codes stay correct.
Leave Track scans on and give each placement its own campaign name, such as table or bag. Your page stats then show how many people scanned each one.
A tip: write the short address under the code too (biolinko.me/yourcafe) for people who would rather type it.
Can your restaurant page show up on Google?
A published Biolinko page is open to search engines unless you turn on Hide from search engines in settings or protect it with a password. The page title is used as the search result title and your bio as the description, and the page includes ProfilePage structured data that links to your social profiles. List in directory adds the page to the public directory and sitemap so it is found faster.
For a café without its own website, this gives you a page with your name, menu and hours that can appear when people search for you. Ranking is never guaranteed, and it works alongside your Google Business Profile rather than replacing it. Add the page as the website link on that profile.
Where Biolinko is not the right fit for restaurants
- No online ordering system or cart. Link to the delivery apps you are listed on, or take orders on WhatsApp with the Menu block's Order on WhatsApp buttons.
- No table management. The Appointment block collects booking requests that you confirm by hand; it does not track tables or covers. For that, link to your reservation provider.
Everything in the core setup above is free. Pro is $5/month (₹299 in India) for Coupon, Image slider, Booking, scheduling and your own domain.
