What should a coach put in their link in bio?
Think about the path from “liked your Reel” to “paid for coaching”. Your page has to handle four doubts in order:
- “Is this for me?” A one-line promise in the header: who you help and with what.
- “Does it work?” Real client results and testimonials.
- “What does it cost?” Clear prices. Hiding them makes people leave, not DM.
- “What do I do now?” One low-risk first step: a free call, a free plan, or a WhatsApp question.
Every block on your page should answer one of those four questions. Anything else, like a long list of your old posts, can go.
Recommended page setup for a fitness coach
Blocks, top to bottom, for an online fitness coach:
- Header: “Fat-loss coaching for busy working women. Online, worldwide.”
- Call to action card: “Book a free 15-minute call”, linking to your Calendly or Cal.com page.
- Testimonial (Pro): three short client quotes with first names and results.
- Before/after (Pro): one transformation slider, used only with the client's written permission.
- Price list: 1:1 coaching per month, 3-month plan, group batch.
- Booking (Pro): your Calendly or Cal.com calendar embedded on the page, so people book without leaving.
- Lead magnet (Pro): “Free 4-week home workout plan” in exchange for an email. Not everyone is ready to book; this keeps them.
- WhatsApp chat: “Have a question first?” with a prefilled message.
- UPI payment: for monthly fees, with a fixed amount per plan.
- FAQ: the questions you answer in DMs every day.
- Social icons.
The Fitness coach template starts you with this structure.
For business, career and life coaches
Swap the before/after slider for a Stats block (clients coached, years of experience) and add a Form embed with a Google Forms, Typeform, Tally or Jotform intake questionnaire, so you know who is booking. If you sell recorded workshops or templates, the Pro Product block delivers them automatically. The Course seller template is a good starting point.
Use the FAQ block to handle objections
Coaches answer the same questions in DMs every week. Put them on the page and you save hours while turning more visitors into clients. Good ones to include:
- “Do I need a gym, or can I train at home?”
- “I am a complete beginner. Is this for me?”
- “Do you give a diet plan for vegetarians?”
- “How do check-ins work, and how often?”
- “What happens if I miss a week?”
Keep each answer to two or three sentences and end the section with the booking button.
How to set up your coaching link in bio, step by step
- Create your free page and pick your name, for example biolinko.me/coachpriya.
- Choose the Fitness coach or Course seller template.
- Write your header promise and fill in the Price list, WhatsApp chat, UPI payment and FAQ blocks. These are all free.
- Upgrade to Pro ($5/month, or ₹299 in India) to add Booking, Testimonial, Lead magnet and Before/after blocks.
- Paste your Calendly or Cal.com link into the Booking block and upload your free plan to the Lead magnet block.
- Add the page to your Instagram bio and your WhatsApp Business profile.
- Each week, check your analytics: how many visitors tap Booking, how many download the free plan, and which posts sent them.
Following up with leads
Lead magnet, Email signup, Phone signup and Contact form entries are saved in your dashboard, and Pro exports them as CSV so you can bring them into the email or CRM tool you already use. A simple routine works: message every new lead within a day with a personal note and your booking link.
For example: “Hi Ananya, thanks for grabbing the home workout plan. How did day one feel? If you want a plan built around your schedule, you can book a free 15-minute call here.” Short, personal and with one link. A quick, personal reply feels very different from a week of silence.
Where Biolinko is not the right fit for coaches
- Scheduling: the Booking block embeds Calendly or Cal.com; it is not a calendar of its own, so you need an account with one of them.
- Courses: Biolinko does not host video courses. Link to your course platform, or look at a tool like Stan Store, which is built for course hosting and global checkout.
- Selling outside India: built-in payments use Razorpay, which onboards Indian businesses. Coaches elsewhere can link to their existing checkout.
